Volunteering

This volunteer position entails researching and presenting a lesson to a class and then a fun practical application. Gather your supplies and plan a presentation strategy ahead of time. You are acting as a guest presenter; the teacher should be able to sit back and observe. Lessons are typlically one hour long.

This is an independent position and gives a lot of freedom in choosing what you want to do. Feel free to consult the other volunteers or the program coordinator.

The goal of the program is to bring one lesson per month into each classroom.

At the spring art show, please help hang your artwork and prepare a description of the project.
